The purpose of the Committee is to advise the City Council on city-wide economic development efforts, including, but not limited to:
• City sponsored projects, programs and events;
• Economic development plans reviews and business-friendly process and policy assessments;
• Constraints and incentives to economic development, including needed infrastructure for development of vacant or underutilized parcels;
• Business recruitment strategies, marketing and media outreach.
